Hitting Streak Still Alive for Bowens Friday, April 28th , 2062 Bulldogs third baseman José Bowens has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 4-for-6 in today's game against the Pasco Platypus. Rockford won the ballgame, 14-2. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." José Bowens doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Currently Bowens is batting .359 with 33 hits and 1 home run. He has knocked in 10 runs and scored 18 times. |
