GL's Star Player Named Monday, July 31st , 2062 One of the league's most exciting young players, Neo Stromberg of the Havana Pelicans earned himself Granville League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 22-year-old second baseman had a lofty .559 average (19-for-34), collecting 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Thus far this season in 36 games, Stromberg is batting .347 with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 50 hits in 144 at-bats. |
