Diéguez Batters Salt Lake City Big Time Wednesday, August 2nd , 2062 It was a parade of hits for Santiago Diéguez of the Mars Martians at Mountain Park. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Diéguez finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Martians to a win, 26-8. "Diéguez was really good and we were really bad," groaned Alpines manager Millard Foreman. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Santiago Diéguez walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Bart Crews in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
