Eyice Stops Havana Tuesday, August 8th , 2062 Rockford hurler Garip Eyice put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Havana Pelicans with a 3-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 6 hits with 7 strikeouts and 3 walks to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Havana manager Ézékiel Houde told reporters after the game.
