Hit Streak for Medina Reaches 20 Wednesday, August 9th , 2062 Armando Medina has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Death Valley catcher picked up 2 more today against the Los Cabos Corsairs and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Scorpions won the game, 8-1. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Armando Medina flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this year, Medina is batting .311 with 26 home runs, 90 RBIs and 70 runs scored. |
