5-for-6 Day for Pepper Saturday, August 12th , 2062 All game long, Brooks's Marcos Pepper was rattling the walls at SUNY Medical Center Presents The Railyard and banging out base hits against the South Bend Proudest Monkeys. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Fighting Pheasants had a win, 17-0. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 26-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Marcos Pepper hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
