He picked up 3 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 30 games. The Salt Lake City Alpines left fielder went 3-for-5, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated, 9-5, by the Victoria Canucks at Mountain Park. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Alika Tai struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. On the year, Tai has hit .383 with 8 home runs, 36 RBIs and scored 39 runs. |
