Huffman Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Monday, August 21st , 2062 Calvin Huffman ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Annapolis Park, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the El Paso Borderhounds dropped the game, 4-2, to the Annapolis Sailors. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Huffman said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Calvin Huffman singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. So far this season, Huffman is hitting .331 with 3 home runs. |
