Woodall Has 20-Game Hitting Streak

Jerry Woodall's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Missouri. The 23-year-old center fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-5 performance against the Albuquerque Coyotes. The Blues won the game, 4-3.

"People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful."
Jerry Woodall struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.

This year, Woodall has socked 135 hits in 479 at-bats for a .282 average with 19 home runs. He is getting on base at a .328 pace and his totals also include 55 RBIs and 91 runs scored.
