Tai Ups Hit Streak to 31 Consecutive Games Monday, September 4th , 2062 Alika Tai collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 31 games. His club, the Salt Lake City Alpines, beat the Black Hills Rally, 4-0. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Tai quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Alika Tai grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. Tai has collected 68 hits for the Alpines this year, 8 of them home runs. He has also netted 37 RBIs and scored 39 runs while batting .380. |
