Indianapolis Celebrates Wild Card Win Tuesday, September 5th , 2062 It wasn't quick or easy for the Indianapolis Downforce, but they have clinched a berth in the postseason. While they couldn't capture the Roundfield League Midwestern crown, the club has cinched up a wild card berth late in the season. "You come close to not getting a chance in the postseason and it starts to worry you," said shortstop Leslie Hartman. "This is a huge relief for our guys and we're going to celebrate it." The team will be looking for its 2nd Rupert Horn Memorial League championship. |
