Dodge City Devastated by Playoff Elimination Tuesday, September 5th , 2062 Dodge City Gunslingers manager José Ramos said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. The Gunslingers have made the playoffs 8 times in their 68 years as a Rupert Horn Memorial League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2060. In the last 10 seasons, the Gunslingers have made the playoffs 2 times. |
