Brewster Invitational Goes the Distance, Missouri Prevails Sunday, September 10th , 2062 Missouri Blues won a nail-biting series against the Death Valley Scorpions 2-1, wrapping up the Brewster Invitational finale 4-2 at The House of Blues. Blues right fielder Jorge Rodríguez was named the series MVP. He batted .545, drove in 1 runs and scored 0 to lead Missouri into the next round of play. "Jorge was real solid for us, real solid," said Blues manager Alberto Morín. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."
