Tai Has 34-Game Hitting Streak Monday, April 2nd , 2063 The Salt Lake City Alpines fell to the Mars Martians in Mars Field, even as 24-year-old left fielder Alika Tai upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 34 games. Tai finished with 2 hits in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Alpines from dropping the 7-3 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Tai. Alika Tai hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. |
