Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Densmore Wednesday, April 11th , 2063 Bert Densmore collected 3 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Odessa Hobos, beat the Mars Martians, 3-2. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Densmore quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Bert Densmore struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and doubled in the 8th. So far this season, Densmore has put up a .510 batting average with 25 hits, 1 home run and 9 RBIs. |
