Wisse Red-Hot, RL Player of the Week Monday, April 23rd , 2063 Los Cabos fans have something to crow about today as Los Cabos second baseman Ferdie Wisse nabbed the Roundfield League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Wisse. He posted a .464 average (13-for-28) this past week with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. This year, Wisse is batting .358 with 6 home runs. He has scored 13 runs and driven in 15. |
