Spee Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Thursday, June 14th , 2063 Lorenz Spee did a number on the Gunslingers in the 9-6 South Bend victory -- and the number was 5. The Proudest Monkeys left fielder banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Monkey House to lead his club past the Dodge City Gunslingers. "I felt good in the batter's box," he said. Lorenz Spee singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Ralph Norman in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
