Jones Pitches Gem as Borderhounds Beat New Jersey, 10-0 Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 It wasn't easy but the El Paso Borderhounds made it look that way. Starter Anthony Jones shut out the New Jersey Devils despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the El Paso Borderhounds cruised to victory, 10-0. Jones allowed only 7 hits and rang up 9 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
