Hit Streak for Hernández Reaches 20 Sunday, August 26th , 2063 Héctor Hernández continued his streak at The Crow's Nest, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Odessa right fielder was 4-for-6 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Hobos were not as fortunate, losing, 12-8, to the Los Cabos Corsairs. "Hernández was hitting everything we threw at him," said Los Cabos manager Carlos Mora. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Héctor Hernández singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. At the moment, Hernández is batting .285 with 29 home runs and 87 RBIs. He has played in 125 games and scored 74 times. |
