GL Announces Player of the Week Monday, September 3rd , 2063 So far in his young career, Javier Huertas has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Granville League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Gotham Heroes first baseman hit at a torrid .414 clip as he collected 12 hits in 29 at-bats, 6 home runs, 10 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This season, Huertas has banged out 145 hits in 511 at-bats for a .284 average with 33 home runs. He is getting on base at a .347 pace and his totals also include 93 RBIs and 83 runs scored. |
