Suárez Booms 4 HR Against El Paso Monday, June 23rd , 2064 Fans at Rockford Field won't soon forget the raw display of power put on by Rockford Bulldogs right fielder Jesús Suárez. Suárez smashed 4 home runs in Rockford's 10-3 victory over the El Paso Borderhounds. "To be honest with you, I have never even thought about hitting this many home runs in a game," Suárez said to reporters after the game. "Only legends hit this many home runs in a game and I ain't no legend." In his history-making performance, Suárez victimized El Paso hurlers for 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 4 runs scored and 7 RBIs. "What he did was unbelievable," said El Paso manager Carson Stoller. "My guys gave it their best, but he hit some fine pitches. He was like -- he was in automatic home run mode today. He just had that great swing. It didn't matter what we threw him. It was gone."
