Göyünc Tosses No-Hitter Against Sycamores Saturday, July 15th , 2062 In a dominant outing, Civan Göyünc of the Kingston Kodiaks totally silenced the bats of the Lexington Sycamores, finishing with a no-hitter. In the 5-0 victory, Göyünc faced only 29 batters, surrendered no hits, had 2 strikeouts and 1 walk. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Kingston manager Guillermo Morán said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Luis Valentín had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game. "The Kodiaks had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped.
