Waco Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 2nd , 2062 The playoff hopes of the Waco Thunder -- which were already faint at best -- are now completely extinguished. The team will miss the playoffs this year, being mathematically eliminated from contention today. Waco last appeared in the postseason in 2057. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 54 times in their 66-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Thunder have made the playoffs 2 times. |
