Sting Rays Out of Playoff Race Thursday, August 3rd , 2062 The Gaylord Sting Rays organization will have to turn its attention to next season -- the team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention in 2062 today. Gaylord last appeared in the postseason in 2042. This is their 20th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 37 times in their 66-year history.
