Woolley's Season Could be Over
Saturday, August 12th , 2062
Doctors in Bowling Green said Wade Woolley might not play anymore this year. The Corvettes starting pitcher suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament during a game against the Bartlett Jazz and will be out for at least 7-8 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
Thus far this season, Woolley has posted a 4-3 record, started 12 games, struck out 56 batters in 62 innings and compiled a 2.76 ERA.
