Week's Premier Performer Honored by HL Monday, August 14th , 2062 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Cheyenne center fielder Dwight Heard. He went on a rampage last week against HL hurlers and rapped out 11 hits in 22 at-bats for a .500 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 6 runs and scoring 4 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Horizon League Player of the Week trophy. Heard was honored today at a press conference. Looking at his season stats, Heard has compiled a .322 batting average and a .375 on-base percentage, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 18 runs. |
