Wednesday, September 27th , 2062
The future looks extremely bright for Rodrigo Keeter. At the age of 19, many players are still trying to find their way in Spike Nolan League.
Keeter has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Horizon League Frank Moore Batter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .404 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.
The Alamogordo Road Runners star also put up a .469 on-base percentage this year, with 99 hits, 32 doubles, 6 triples, 9 home runs, 24 RBIs and 51 runs scored.
He received 32 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Francisco Báez of the Cheyenne Bulls finished second in voting, while Arnold Ryan of the Alamogordo Road Runners finished third.
