Super Swinger -- Sams Slams 5 Hits Thursday, June 7th , 2063 Wilber Sams was the King of Swing at Mississauga Ballpark in the 18-11 Traverse City Talons win over the Mississauga Credits. The Traverse City right fielder stepped into the batter's box 6 times against Mississauga and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-6 isn't bad for your batting average either." Wilber Sams grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Carlos Pérez in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Rheinhardt Lubitsch in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
