Bowling Green-Saylorville Brawl, Hilal and Solomon Suspended Monday, June 11th , 2063 After an intense confrontation, both the Corvettes Al'Alim Hilal and the Nuts Scott Solomon were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Bowling Green-Saylorville game. Al'Alim Hilal will miss 3 games, while Scott Solomon was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Al'Alim Hilal commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Batting .281 to date, Hilal has 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. |
