5-Hit Game for Corral Sunday, July 1st , 2063 Speaking with reporters after a dominating hitting performance, Jesús Corral said his club's tilt with the Kingston Kodiaks "felt almost like batting practice." The 18-year-old right fielder went a remarkable 5-for-5 at the plate. "I saw the ball well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted," he recalled later. However, his sensational day wasn't enough for the Assateague Ponies, who were topped by the Kodiaks, 9-6. "It's a good lesson for him, I guess," Ponies manager Brad Wise said. "Sometimes Jesús is going to lose. But I would rather him go 5-for-5 and lose than go 0-for-5 and lose."
