Talons End Nandkeolyar Streak Sunday, August 12th , 2063 The 20-game hitting streak is over. Mississauga Credits second baseman Arya Nandkeolyar failed to get a hit against the Traverse City Talons and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 18-year-old went 0-for-1 in his club's 5-1 victory over the Talons at Impact Ballpark. "I think I only made it to 20 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." On the season, Nandkeolyar is batting .373 with 6 home runs and 24 RBIs. He has played in 46 games. |
