Lynchburg-Roswell Brawl, Docking and Ionescu Suspended Tuesday, August 14th , 2063 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Lynchburg-Roswell contest at The Kingdom of Nye. The Whiskeyjacks Raymond Docking and the Aliens Victor Ionescu will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season, Docking is swinging the bat at a .325 rate with 74 hits in 228 at-bats. To date he has hit 17 home runs, scored 54 runs and driven in 57. For the year, Ionescu has saved 3 games while posting an ERA of 10.50 and 4 strikeouts in 6 innings. His totals also include a 0-2 record in 7 relief appearances. |
