Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2064 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the Round 3 and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Blue Bears starting pitcher Steve Baird. The Blue Bears have made the playoffs 4 times in their 36 years as a Spike Nolan League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2055. In the last 10 seasons, the Blue Bears have only made the playoffs once. |
