Surface 5-for-6 Against Jammers Sunday, July 3rd , 2061 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Harry Surface. The third baseman for the San Juan Music hit the milestone against the Nassau Jammers, helping his club to a narrow 9-8 victory. Surface finished with a 5-for-6 line at the plate. "Surface was a tough out," Nassau manager Iván Sandoval told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Harry Surface singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
