Postseason Bid Ends for Caracas Friday, August 19th , 2061 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Caracas Sting. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Sting starting pitcher John Greathouse. This is the club's 10th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2051. In total, the Sting have missed the playoffs 32 times in their 46-year history. Caracas last won the Supremacy Series in 2028. |
