Carlos García Named Premier SL2 Player Sunday, September 25th , 2061 The manager of the Hot Springs Gators said he thinks Carlos García is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 23, but it will be hard to top the left fielder's 2061 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 2 Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .339 batting average and a .398 on-base percentage this year. In 69 games he piled up 98 hits, 13 doubles, 2 triples, 14 home runs, 44 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 32. Jeff Way of the San Angelo Missions finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Boguslaw Kotas of the Adirondack Beavers finished third with 1 first place vote.
