Injury Sidelines Pedro Pineda For Year Thursday, June 29th , 2062 Pedro Pineda has to call it a season. The Hot Springs Gators reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Nassau Jammers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Pineda was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 8-9 months. Pineda has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-2 record with a 4.38 ERA. The Hot Springs reliever has limited opposing batters to a .291 batting average. |
