SL1 Player of the Week Named Monday, July 17th , 2062 A hot-hitting week got Juan Velázquez the Sub League 1 Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Philipsburg second baseman slammed them for a .471 average, 8 hits in 17 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 2 runs. In the postgame press conference, Velázquez shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
