Howard MacDonald Wins SL2 Trophy Monday, July 24th , 2062 Howard MacDonald must have thought he was in seventh heaven this week. First he went on a sensational hitting spree, belting the ball at a .600 pace, then the Havana third baseman finds out he has been selected the top performer and gets the Sub League 2 Player of the Week Award. Asked what his hitting philosophy was, MacDonald quipped to the BNN reporters, "Well, my theory of hitting is to just watch the ball as it comes in and hit it." It was a good week's work for MacDonald. He hit .600 average (12-for-20) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs. For the year, MacDonald has hit .342 with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 20 runs. |
