Great Stroke: Acosta Gets 5 Hits Friday, July 28th , 2062 No matter what the Daytona Beach Cruisers threw him, Cipriano Acosta hit it. The 21-year-old Paraiso Sea Dogs catcher racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Hogg Pound and led the Sea Dogs to a win, 16-1. Cipriano Acosta singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Darby Paull in the 9th.
