Sea Turtles Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, August 25th , 2062 Santo Domingo Sea Turtles catcher Cris Sawyer said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2062 postseason contention. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2060. In total, the Sea Turtles have missed the playoffs 22 times in their 47-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Sea Turtles have only missed the playoffs once. |
