Sawyer Takes SL2's Best Bat Trophy Friday, September 1st , 2062 For a rookie just breaking in, Cris Sawyer certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the SL2 Batter of the Month award for August. The 20-year-old catcher for the Santo Domingo Sea Turtles hit .489 with 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
