Thursday, September 21st , 2062
A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Gil Rincón, he seems to have taken the Coxen Hole Schooners to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Sub League 1 for leading the team to a very rewarding season.
"Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way."
Rincón led Coxen Hole to a first place finish in the Sub League 1 Central Coast. The Schooners ended up with a 51-25 record.
