Big Day with Bat: Lodhi 5-for-5 Tuesday, June 26th , 2063 5 times is the charm -- at least for Shaheed Lodhi. The Hastings Haymakers third baseman tore up the Port au Prince Purple Aces to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Port-au-Prince Park. The offensive onslaught from Lodhi powered the 8-3 Haymakers win. "Lodhi was a tough out," Port au Prince manager Duncan Gardner said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Shaheed Lodhi singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Iván Francisco in the 9th.
