Kangaroos 1B Casey Gets the Cycle
Sunday, January 1st , 2062
It was a special day for Harry Casey at Buenos Aires Park. Not only did Casey's Australia Kangaroos beat the South America Gulls, 15-10, but the first baseman hit for the cycle along the way.
The 18-year-old Casey racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-6 with 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored.
"He hit everything we threw," said Gulls manager Octávio García. "There was just no getting him out today."
Speaking to the press after the game, Casey said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs."
"I got some good looks today," he said.
Harry Casey flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mario Pérez in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
