London, Maundu Snuff Out Sharks Sunday, April 9th , 2062 All went well for Fassil Maundu of the London Monarchs as he pitched his team to a shutout victory, 8-0, over the Sydney Sharks, limiting them to 1 hit. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Maundu on the day. "Fassil's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Monarchs manager Jack Gulliver. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful." In the contest, the London right-hander rang up 6 and surrendered no walks.
