Hawkins Gets GBC #1 Pitcher Trophy Monday, May 1st , 2062 Glenn Hawkins of Buenos Aires had an award-winning April as he took home the Global Baseball Consortium Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," Hawkins's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in April except for Glenn." Hawkins was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 4-0 record in 6 starts. He struck out 32 batters in 42.2 innings and kept opponents to a .180 batting average. |
