Peyton Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, May 18th , 2062 Blair Peyton, center fielder for the Cairo Pharaohs, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 3 hits in his club's 4-3 victory over the Sydney Sharks at Pyramid Park. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Blair Peyton singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and doubled in the 8th. This season, Peyton is batting .368 with 15 RBIs, 44 runs scored and 3 home runs. |
