Cairo Secures Top Spot in GBC AfSAmOc Division Thursday, August 31st , 2062 The Cairo Pharaohs are juggernauts of the GBC AfSAmOc Division and today wrapped up a convincing division win. The club's current 92-49 record has them well ahead of the pack and now can't be caught for the division title. It is the 4th time they have won the title and the team manager James Monger said it's a "privilege to lead such a talented team into the playoffs." Cairo will be trying to capture their 5th Global Baseball Consortium championship and center fielder Blair Peyton said he likes the club's chances. "We won the division pretty easily and I think there's a lot of confidence in the clubhouse right now," he said. |
