GBC Spotlight Shines on Rookie Star Sunday, October 1st , 2062 The #1 rookie has been named for September -- and the winner is Riyadi Subandrio. The Global Baseball Consortium presented the trophy to him today in a press conference. It was his standout 1-0 record that brought the Moscow starter the Rookie of the Month award. Subandrio excelled last month with a 0.00 ERA in 0 starts, tossed 9.2 innings, fanned 13 and held hitters who faced him to a .069 average. This season, Subandrio has picked up 45 saves and a 4-4 mark with a 1.43 ERA. He has made 68 relief appearances, thrown 75.2 innings, walked 21 and struck out 103. |
